Waterways:

The locks on the Canal du Midi are automatic with the help of lock keepers. On the Canal de la Robine, the locks are automatic with a lock keeper for 4 locks. They are open from 9 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 to 7 pm in high season, until 6 pm in low season. Closed on the 1st of May.

The Étang de Thau cannot be crossed when the wind is stronger than 3 beaufort. On the Lez and Canal du Rhône à Sète, the few locks are automatic.

Please note: the lift bridge at Frontignan is only opened for a few minutes two times a day (8.30am and 4pm).
