Just put one foot on the deck and the canal holidays ! bug will get you! Part of the fun of a waterways holiday is that you'll get to explore a new route every year and also learn how to handle a different canal boat And here’s a brand-new boat that you're going to love…

The year has got off to an elegant start: from five Locaboat bases in Burgundy (Joigny, Corbigny and Montbard on the Bourgogne Nivernais side; Scey-sur-Saône and Saint-Léger sur Dheune on the Bourgogne Saône side), you can now cruise in style on a yacht!

location-bateau-sans-permis This completely new boat, the Linssen Grand Sturdy 34.9, can carry up to six people. But the best way to enjoy it is with a crew of four. That way you avoid crowding in the shared areas, the kitchen and the warm and welcoming saloon, which has a settee and table, as well as a desk and navigation area. Practical details: the comfy settee turns into a wide double bed, quickly and easily. The other two cabins, at the fore and aft of the boat, have a double bed and lots of storage space: a good wardrobe for your clothes and a chest of drawers for everything else. They also have a bathroom area with toilets, wash-basin and a large, separate shower.

This arrangement means everyone can sail in privacy and comfort on this 10.7 m x 3.4 m boat, making your cruise peaceful and hassle-free. By the way, when it comes to problem-free cruising, you might like to know that the Linssen is very simple to handle. It's fitted with a bow-thruster and a stern-thruster – for the uninitiated, that's the ultimate in assisted steering for boats!

The wheelhouse on the upper deck is built entirely of teak and fitted with armchairs and a table, with a pretty bimini top where the skipper and his crew can shelter from the rain ... or more likely, from the brilliant sunshine!
