It is in the spirit of this principle that from 1977 Constant Pafsides began to devise his boat in the tradition of the sailors of yesteryear, giving it its character, whose particularity is due to its combination of aesthetics, reliability and comfort.

Over the years a complete range has seen the light of day and the Pénichette is constantly evolving to satisfy all the demands of its international clientele.

 

Operation

The establishment of a base is achieved thanks to an exemplary partnership between Locaboat and regional authorities (town councils, regions etc)

Each departure base has at its disposal a structure for client reception, lead by a head of base and a motivated team

The reception team
Often bilingual or trilingual, at the disposal of the client throughout his cruise so that his holiday is a complete success.

- the hostess introduces her region and the best spots which are not to be missed

- the technician explains how to handle the Pénichette and remains at the disposal of the pilot for any further assistance.

The technical management of the boats:
This consists of:

- During the season when boats are rented out:
- maintenance of the base to a high standard
- duties on board the boats and after-sales service
- systematic maintenance of the departure bases

- During the winter:
- preventative maintenance of the base
- technical updating
- ongoing staff training

Related duties :
- Within the domain of our bases, we offer a security service for boats to private owners, in addition to welcoming boats that are passing through.

Engineering

We are developing in partnership with regional authorities bases , which are adapted to be completely equipped with the necessary infrastructure.
